I have a one year old Pap and was wondering if it is still possible to AKC register him?

It depends on if your dogs breeder provided you with an original copy of the AKC individual registration for your dog.
A dog can only be registered if the breeder – owner of the dam- of the litter registered the litter and both parents are AKC registered. It is required for the owner of the sire to also approve the litter registration.
If you have the individual registration there will be an expiration date for registration. Registration after the expiration date can be done with an additional fee due to AKC.
